About me

Ella Shi is an illustrator, graphic designer, and 3D artist currently living in New York. She is now pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from School of Visual Arts and holds an average of 3.818 GPA. As a freelancer, Ella has worked on illustration projects for Ralph Ellison Foundation, and 3D projects for Jett Sets use in television and cinema productions. Using mainly digital illustrating techniques, her work ranges from flat and graphic images to painterly style of portraiture. She is good at poster design, book illustration, lifestyle or fashion illustration, editorial illustration, graphic work for all project proposals, and has a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

In her free time she enjoys teaching herself new skills and technology, and experiencing with different kinds of software. Passionate about all areas in Art and strongly interested in working in a professional digital illustrator setting, Ella is a hardworking person with good time management to finish all projects with excellent quality and quantity. Also, she is eager to learn and adapt to different environments.
